Dong Yingying

Dong Yingying

Dr. Dong Yingying (female) was born in 1984 and now works at Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth of CAS, serving as a Assistant Research Scientist at CAS Key Laboratory of Digital Earth Sciences and Digital Earth Theory and System Research Office. As a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS, Dr. Dong has an inter-disciplinary education background, namely remote sensing, computer science, and mathematics. For years on end, she has devoted herself into the research of quantitative remote sensing mechanism and remote sensing information analysis and applications. Over the past 5 years, she has published a total of 35 papers in Chinese and international academic journals, including 15 papers in SCI-indexed journals and 17 in EI journals. Among the 35 papers mentioned above, she is the lead author or corresponding author of 17 papers, 6 of which have been included in SCI-indexed journals and 9 in EI journals. Dr. Dong has been granted 1 patent and 2 software copyrights, with another 1 patent application preliminarily approved. She has participated in the compilation of 1 book. From 2011 to 2013, she received a wide range of honors and awards, including Outstanding Graduate Award, Postgraduate Student Award of Merit, and the Kwang-Hua Scholarship granted by Zhejiang University, and the Outstanding Postgraduate Student Scholarship provided by National Engineering Research Center for Information Technology in Agriculture. She is the Principal Investigator of a subproject supported by Special Fund for Agro-scientific Research in the Public Interest, and has participated in more than 10 research projects that are supported by NSFC, NSFC-FRQNT Exchange Program, or CAS Key Project of International Cooperation.
